Sr. Software Engineer - Backend

Description We are searching for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer - Backend to be a part of our team. Based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, this role will involve making substantial technical enhancements to our software and operational systems. You will be implementing and delivering intricate, critical projects for our clients while uplifting engineering practices through technical leadership and cooperative problem-solving.Responsibilities: Execute intricate backend engineering initiatives and tasks with minimal guidance. Advocate for and execute enhancements to our software and operational systems. Assist in the design and review of technical architectures. Swiftly and efficiently resolve bugs. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices, adapting as necessary. Take a proactive role in improving system performance and reliability. Lead technical projects while mentoring entry level engineers. Utilize your skills in Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Business Logic, Client Side Scripting, and Cloud Technologies to drive results. Apply your knowledge in AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Ajax, API Development, and ASP.NET to optimize our engineering processes. Requirements Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking Strong background in Backend Development with a focus on server-side logic and efficiency Ability to design and implement complex Business Logic ensuring seamless operations Knowledge of Client Side Scripting to support frontend developers and enhance user experience Familiarity with Cloud Technologies for deploying, scaling, and managing applications Experience with AB Testing methodologies to optimize application performance Proficient in Agile Scrum methodology for efficient project management Understanding of Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications Expertise in API Development for seamless data integration and exchange Proficiency in ASP.NET for developing robust and secure web applications Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
