Description We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The role involves working in the telecom industry, focusing on cloud technologies and software engineering. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud infrastructure solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure solutions following industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and develop solutions. Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency. Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance. Prepare technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Assist with triage and resolution of issues from customers and internal users. Provide rotation on-call support, triage postmortem. Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the cloud infrastructure. Demonstrate proficiency in DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and others. Leverage AWS services such as EKS EC2 S3 Lambda and Kubernetes to support workloads. Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, CDK. Utilize various programming languages and protocols as required. Requirements Proven experience in a Sr. Software Engineer role or similar capacity. Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with clients and team members. Strong capabilities in producing comprehensive documentation for software solutions. Proficiency in designing, producing, and implementing software solutions. Familiarity with security principles applicable to software development. Ability to troubleshoot software issues and provide effective solutions. Understanding of networking principles and protocols relevant to software engineering. Experience with automation tools and techniques in a software development context. Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Knowledge of industry best practices and ability to apply them in work scenarios. Skills in optimizing software for efficiency and scalability. Proficiency in SQL for database management and operations. Experience with cloud technologies and their application in software development. Familiarity with monitoring tools to track software performance. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively in team settings. Proficiency in Java and other relevant programming languages. Understanding of protocols relevant to software development. Experience in programming and software development. Proficiency in using GitHub for version control. Ability to leverage LinkedIn for professional networking and industry insights. Knowledge of REST API for building and integrating software applications. Experience in streamlining software development processes for efficiency. Proficiency in relevant software tools, languages, and frameworks.
