The Director functions as a Controller and has overall supervisory responsibility for general accounting, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and fixed asset management. The Director is responsible for directing, coordinating, maintaining and controlling the accounting system that properly reflects the financial position of the System. The Finance Director reports directly to the Market CFO, and supervises the Hospital Division Accounting Team. The Finance Director department serves as a System Financial Operations department having responsibility for the preparation of financial statements for the flagship hospital (Memorial) as well as a sole community hospital (Miners) and a critical access hospital (Meyersdale).
