Substitute Cafeteria Workers and Lunch-time Helpers Needed for the West Jefferson Hills School District.Prefer the candidates are flexible enough to work atany of theschools in the district, but it's OK if they can only work in one or two of the district's schools.These are day-to-day substitute positions. If the candidates arealready working, these positions are often flexible enough to supplement the candidates' schedules. The potential for work each day increases if the candidates are open to working in any of the schools in the district, however, there is often steady work and openings to be filled every day in every school.Cafeteria hours usually fall between the hours of 9:00am - 2pm, however, there can be some morning shift work available to assist with breakfast offered at the schools.Lunch-time Helpers/monitors typically work in the elementary schools and assist as cafeteria or student monitors helping students navigate the lunch line, opening containers, or helping maintain safe conditions during recess.It is preferred the qualified candidates havereliable transportation as mostschools in the district are not easily accessible by bus.
Cafeteria workers: $14/hr
Lunch-time Helpers: $12/hr
Clearances required within the last year:
PA Criminal Background Check
PA Child Abuse Clearance
FBI fingerprints through theDept.ofEducation
Act 126 Clearance (online Mandated Reporter training)
Arrest/Conviction Record form (Act 24) and Act 168 clearance (Precision will provide these forms for the candidates to complete)
Pre-employment physical and TB test required (neither should bemore than 1 year old)

Additional Requirements:
Must have at least a HS diploma or GED
While it is preferred candidates have some experience in food service and/or customer service,it's not required. Some training will be offered prior to starting as a substitute employee.
