S&T Bank Summer Internship Program: May 22, 2024 - August 9, 2024.S&T Bank's Summer Internship Program is a compensated professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical, real-life experience.Summer internship participants will:Explore careers in the Banking industry,Participate in volunteer opportunities,Join Q&A sessions with Bank leaders and executives,Connect through team building activities and much more!Hours may be determined based on the needs of the department but will not exceed 29 hours per week.Internship Program Starting Rate: $13.00/hourS&T Support Center: 2416 Philadelphia Street, Indiana, PA 15701Function:Gains valuable experience supporting all divisions under managerial guidance,honing communication and critical thinking skills through diverse tasks and direct customer service engagementDuties and Responsibilities:Assumes responsibility for ensuring the satisfactory handling of internal or customer related telephone inquiries or service related problems by performing the following functions:Promptly responding to customer/internal inquiries in a courteous and professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience.Providing customer and internal personnel with accurate product knowledge and service information, as well as operational knowledge that will assist personnel in the successful completion of their duties.Providing professional written correspondence to customers when necessary.Answers incoming customer service calls to include but are not limited to:Inquiries regarding deposit and loan accountsAccount maintenance requests, including but are not limited to: change of address, check ordering, related/unrelated account transfers, and stop paymentsResponsible for closing debit cards, ordering new debit cards, raising and lowering debit card limits, adding travel notes, removing fraud exclusion, and removing VAUOnline banking and mobile banking inquiries, including but are not limited to: enrolling new users, registering computers, unlocking accounts, online statements, and BillPay issues as well as assistance with BillPay limit increases.Utilizing Financial Intelligence Group standards to detect suspicious callers and activity to combat fraud and minimize bank losses.Fosters positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues across all departments.Combines self-driven initiative with exceptional teamwork to propel departmental and organizational goals.Assists with special projects in all divisions of the Solution Center as needed.Performs additional duties as required.Get ready to:

In pursuit of a four-year degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field.ExperienceWe're on the lookout for individuals with a knack for client delight and a track record in delivering exceptional customer experience.Physical Demands:Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20" for computer work. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
