Pay Rate $21.13 per hour.

Schedule: Daylight hours

Areas of Responsibility:

Manage the organization's finances and financial systems, ensure finances and systems are compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), statutory requirements and federal/state/grantor regulations and outcomes.

Direct all agency financial matters, including receipt, withdrawal and disbursement of monies, maintenance of accounting records and preparation of financial statements and reports.

Prepare all records for fiscal yearend audit.

Arrange for audits according to grant specifications, working closely with the auditors and make adjusting entries as required.

Prepare Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) for auditors.

Ensure completion and filing of annual single audit and annual filings of IRS requirements including IRS Forms 990 and 990T; ensure required Pennsylvania financial requirements are submitted.

Responsible for payroll to include processing direct deposits, process payroll taxes, and prepare quarterly reporting of payroll taxes and all other related tax filing. Prepare yearend W2 and 1099 forms.

Represent the organization on financial matters before the Board of Directors, Finance Committee, auditors and grantors.

Prepare fiscal reports for Board meetings and profit and loss reports for agency staff.

Perform continual analysis of the organizations financial status; forecasts and prepare annual budgets.

Ensure financial requirements are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.

Provide an up-to-date status of all grants to be used as a management tool.

Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded in QuickBooks and that they are properly verifiable by reference to supporting documents in the files.

Prepare yearly budgets and maintain budgetary and expenditure control accounts.

Collaborate with agency personnel in preparation and proofing of various agency proposal budgets.

Cash Disbursement: Oversee distribution of purchase orders, preparation and mailing of vendor payments; audit accounts payable for accuracy.

Prepare journal entries and financial analysis of all program operations through monthly budgeting reviews and bank reconciliations.

Balance all funds monthly.

Prepare Unemployment claim forms.

Prepare and submit monthly / quarterly invoices.

Prepare fiscal closeouts.

Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned or required.

Work as a team and maintain a positive attitude.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications/Criteria:

A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.

Two to five years fund accounting and non-profit related experience.

Minimum of one to three years of experience in managing contracts and budgets preferred, but not required.

Experience in QuickBooks required.

Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience in monitoring program contracts.

Ability to supervise and work with staff to achieve desired outputs.

Good organizational skills and have the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Working knowledge of computers, including MS Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and other related programs.

Possession of valid PA driver's license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel in Indiana and other counties as required.

Must have or be willing to obtain a Motor Vehicle Report, Act 33 & 34 clearances, and FBI clearance wi h fingerprinting.

Must have vehicle insurance to comply with agency standards of coverage.
