Description About us:Our client is a growing financial consulting firm looking for a dedicated, meticulous individual to join their team as an Entry Level Tax Accountant. The Entry Level Tax Accountant will work directly under the supervision of our Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, performing tax research, managing client relationships, assisting with tax planning, handling external audits, and providing bookkeeping services to clients. They are very open to new graduates with a Bachelors degree in AccountingResponsibilities

Preparation of individual, corporation, partnership, and other tax returns as required.

Perform basic tax research and planning.

Assist with quarterly tax projections and related estimated tax payment calculations.

Provide excellent customer service to clients, striving to exceed their expectations and build lasting relationships.

Complete bookkeeping, AP, and AR duties for clients who request help with their books

Manage and maintain thorough and accurate paper and electronic records in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

Stay abreast of current industry developments and apply relevant tax laws and regulations to client scenarios.

Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

Internship or work experience with tax experience preferred

Desire to sit for the CPA exam.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel skills.

Comfortable with tax software

Ability to plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to detail.
