We continentally strive to foster teamwork, engagement and enhance our employee's skills and competence by providing appropriate training.Job PurposeThe Quality Technician performs inspections of incoming and in-process parts/products to documented key characteristics from facility processes, procedures and drawings.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems

Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Record/Maintain Inspection results.

Program and perform inspection on equipment (Keyence IM-7000 & CMM).

Write Material Action requests (MAR) for discrepant material found during receiving and in process inspection.

Perform internal quality system audits.

Write Inspection procedures.

Perform Gage calibration and maintain Gage calibration system.QualificationsEducation and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience as an inspector preferred

Quality System experience preferred (Auditor training, AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)

Language Skills

Ability to read, write, and understand English

COMPETENCIES:

Attention to detail

Ability to read and understand blueprints (GD&T is a plus)

Ability to read and understand material certification and industry specifications for materials

Competent in the use of mechanical metrology such as micrometers, calipers height gage, drop gage, optical comparator (programming is a plus)

Ability to work in a team atmosphere as a contributing member
