Job Location: Hershey, PA Summary of role/responsibilities: Operations Analysis and Leadership Develop a thorough understanding of Jolly Rancher, Twizzlers, and other Hershey Sweets brand operations and production (process, manufacturing, packaging) Provide strategic guidance to the broader organization regarding network decisions/strategy Data Analysis External and internal assessment of the business environment, competitors, customers, market trends, and implications to the particular area of responsibility Identify opportunity areas as foundation for strategic recommendations Size-of-prize calculations, forecasting, assumption-based market sizing Leverage deep bench of consumer insights and consumer frameworks to identify target consumers Strategy Development Aid in developing data-driven, winning strategy for our Twizzlers, Jolly Rancher, and Shaq-a-Licious brands Develop strategy to sustain our recent innovations Effectively communicate strategy to cross functional partners, collaborating closely with R&D, operations, equity team, seasons, and packtypes. Innovation Partnership Work closely with the innovation team to drive forward winning innovation Work to prioritize innovation pipeline and drive pivots as capacity and market trends demand Project Leadership Lead projects to develop new items for the Jolly Rancher and Twizzlers brands, based on strategy. Cross-functional partnership and relationship building in challenging environments Operate in ambiguous environments, make decisions, drive initiatives Qualifications: Education: MBA required. Experience/ Skills: At least 3 years of related work experience. Superior leadership skills. Overall business knowledge and holistic general management approach. Superior strategic thinking and planning. Outstanding analytical abilities, in both data analysis and forecasting Ability to nurture and contribute to innovation and creative solutions. Demonstrated ability to be accountable for sales and income results. Strong verbal and written communicator to a wide breadth of audiences including senior management.
