Programmer

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Programmer to join our team in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll collaborate with business analysts and partners to develop, innovate, and optimize business processes across the organization. As a key team member, you'll ensure that our systems are fast, reliable, and scalable, working with large datasets where performance and efficient, optimized code are essential.You will be responsible for defining, developing, testing, and maintaining new software applications to meet business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications, as well as designing and documenting software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.Major Responsibilities:Support and enhance existing web-based applications.Develop new data-driven web solutions.Contribute to project estimation and scheduling.Adhere to and support internal development standards.Test, debug, and document both new and existing programs.Develop and maintain technical documentation.Serve as an architectural, software development, and project lead.Oversee the design and implementation of the software development environment.Collaborate with software vendors and internal engineering teams to create software solutions.Make decisions regarding open-source technologies and tools to solve project-specific challenges.Lead the selection of coding languages or scripting methodologies to resolve workflow issues.Lead project and brainstorming sessions to determine the best approach for addressing complex technological, infrastructure, security, or development challenges.
