Kelly Services in Hershey, PA is now hiring for a sales associate to be working with The Hershey Company! Sales associate will be responsible for selling goods to wholesalers, manufacturers, businesses, or groups of individuals. A typical sales associate will be making calls to buyers and purchasing agents interested in their merchandise, describing their products, and explaining how those products could benefit the customer, by reducing costs and/or increasing sales. Sales associates will not be making cold calls.
Job Responsibilities: Outbound calling combined with recommending products to customers, based on customers needs and interests. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates. Provide customers with product samples and catalogs. You will be working 20 -32 hours per week.
Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, computer navigation skills, and interpersonal skills are required. Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time as well as taking and implementing basic coaching. Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services is a plus.
Education/Experience: Sales or Retail experience preferred but not required. A HS Diploma or GED is required! We are looking for someone who is ready to be part of a team and willing to learn!
