What do I need as a Grounds Assistant with Messiah Lifeways?
Basic knowledge of lawn mowing, mulching, tree trimming, snow removal, general equipment maintenance, and general grounds maintenance.
Current/valid driver's license
What will I do as a Grounds Assistant with Messiah Lifeways?
Carries out all requests assigned by the Manager. These requests may include, but are not limited to, any of the following:
lawn mowing
weed whacking/string trimming
snow/ice removal
mulching
tree and shrubbery trimming/pruning
weeding
trash/recycling collection
room setups involving setting tables, chairs, etc., for special functions
routine maintenance duties as requested by residents or departments
On-Call: Is responsible to help with on-call coverage of all weather-related emergencies 24/7. Must be willing to alter work schedule to accommodate special needs such as snow plowing/removal and preventive maintenance projects.
