Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstHumana Healthy Horizons is seeking a Project Manager to manage all aspects of enterprise level non-technical program implementations, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.The Project Manager designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan for completing non-technical programs, monitors progress and performance against the implementation plan, and takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.Key roles and responsibilities:

Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources to complete implementations.

Prepares designs and work specifications; develops implementation schedules, budgets, and forecasts; selects materials, equipment, implementation staff, and external contractors.

Communicates with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the implementation.

Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the implementation.

Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates implementation staff to meet implementation targets and milestones.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Maintains program implementation management tools (i.e., status updates, workplans, RAID logs, Q/A Logs, etc.) in accordance with established guidelines/procedures.

Provides administrative support for program implementation teams.

Must reside in the eastern or central standard time zones in the United States.

Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of relevant work experience.

2+ years of formal project management experience with large size initiatives implementing non-technical projects.

2+ years of experience working in a managed care healthcare system.

Work at Home Requirements

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Medicaid requirements and guidelines.

PMP or PMI-ACP certifications.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Additional Information

Travel : Role may include limited travel to a Humana office location.

Workstyle: Remote

Core Workdays & Hours: Typically, 8-5 pm Monday - Friday; Eastern Standard Time (EST) with flexible scheduling (i.e. occasional nights and weekends)
