Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced payroll specialist to join our team. As a payroll specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining payroll records. You will also handle payroll inquiries from employees and assist with payroll-related projects as needed.Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for employees accurately and on time
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner
Assist with payroll tax calculations and filings
Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll-related projects and initiatives
Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel
Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
