Drive your career forward while providing valuable services to our great state, apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Licensing Trainer, you will establish key components to be covered for the various classification levels in conjunction with the Director's Office, and integrate procedure changes into training outlines. Duties involve developing and conducting initial licensing program procedural training for clerical, technical, and specialist staff, and all refresher training for updated or new procedures as directed. This position participates in the development and maintenance of desk manuals and licensing web pages to assist with day-to-day processing of license and permit applications. You will work with supervisory and management staff to evaluate employee progress, identify performance issues, and develop training outlines and presentations to improve performance.Work is performed independently on routine and complex assignments that involve the examination and review of all types of transfers and new applications. You will request investigations when necessary, and approve or recommend disapproval of license and permit applications in accordance with legislation and board policies and regulations controlling the manufacture, purchase, transportation, storage, delivery, sale, and consumption of liquor, alcohol, and malt or brewed beverages. You will also provide information regarding case status to applicants, licensees, attorneys, legislators, as well as to agency personnel through written or oral correspondence and electronic mail.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with the exception of reporting to the Northwest Office Building on Board meeting dates once every two to three weeks, and as operational needs dictate. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to headquarters, located at the Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience as an LCB Licensing Technician 2; or
Five years of clerical, administrative, or para-professional experience supporting a legal, licensing, or other regulatory program requiring the application of statutes, program policies, and industry regulations, and graduation from high school; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
