This leadership role is pivotal in driving revenue growth through the effective management and mentoring of a team of Account Executives. The successful candidate will excel in developing and executing strategies to secure new business, cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, and oversee the sales process from initial contact to contract closure.Essential Job Functions

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to securing and growing relationships with Key Accounts.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives, setting clear objectives and performance targets.

Client Acquisition: Drive efforts to identify, pursue, and close business opportunities with large organizations, ensuring alignment with company goals and targets.

Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders within prospective Key Accounts.

Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior management.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and service delivery.

Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to adapt strategies accordingly.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in B2B sales.

3+ years in a leadership role managing sales teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

Experience working in subscription, SaaS, professional services, or learning and development.

Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.

Demonstrated success in leading teams to exceed sales targets in a competitive market.

Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and develop customized solutions for large-scale clients.

Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing large enterprise accounts.

Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence at various levels of the organization.

For location-specific compensation:California - Anticipated compensation for this position is $350-400k TTC, 50/50 split base/commission.
