If so, we look forward to helping you acquire the skills necessary to advance your chosen career path and achieve your professional goals, apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Investor Education and Outreach Intern, you will work with department professionals to learn and enhance your skills while participating in the following responsibilities:

Research target audiences such as veteran organizations, women's groups, and working adults in order to reach them where they are.

Assist with organizing the Investor Education website content, which includes videos, photos, event summaries, and program descriptions.

Create an outreach map that is easily updated and lists all event stops.

Identify areas in the Commonwealth that are underserved and have no task force.

Reach out to Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) to make them aware of our programs and trainings for staff.

Be involved in the Fraud Bingo reboot with IT that will make it more accessible online and easily updated.

Track inventory of supplies.

Assist with event preparation.

Create contact lists by demographic and location.

Learn event registration and maintenance.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Part-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with a 60-minute lunch.

This is a summer internship, however you may also work throughout the school year as time and schedules allow.

Flexible part-time hours within work schedule.

Paid parking!

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, if eligible. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Internship Requirements:

Currently enrolled in college full-time (carrying 12 or more undergraduate credits, or 9 or more graduate credits) or be enrolled full-time for the upcoming fall semester.

In good academic standing (2.0 Grade Point Average [GPA] or higher) if currently enrolled.

Completed first year of college.Additional Requirements:
