As a Human Services Analyst, you will be involved in the operational procedures established for the identification and management of managed care enrolled populations. You will serve as the interface for managed care organizations (MCO) and DHS systems, as well as for operational issues between the Office of Income Maintenance (OIM), Bureau of Information Systems (BIS), Bureau of Managed Care Operations (BMCO), Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL), Children's Health Insurance Programs (CHIP), and the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS).In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the offices and bureaus listed above as well as the Gainwell vendor and the programmers performing system coding. You will be involved in monitoring the creation and distribution of membership information, providing technical and operational assistance to managed care plans, and other organizations within the department. You will also offer extensive support to the Medicaid Managed Care programs administered by the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS), Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL), programs administered by the Bureau of Fee For Service Programs (FFS), and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time with a minimum of one day per month in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.Other Requirements:
