THE POSITIONUtilize your experience in fiscal administration and become a Fiscal Management Specialist 2! The Department of Human Services, Office of Medical Assistance Programs provides services to some of Pennsylvania's most vulnerable citizens. If you are a highly motivated, detailed-oriented individual, then come join our team!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Fiscal Management Specialist 2, you will review and monitor large-volume financial and claims processing reports and other payment data files for the Fee-for-Service program. You can expect to interact closely, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external staff, as well as providers to ensure accurate payments and settlements to and from providers. Your duties will include analyzing financial transactions received from other agencies and outside providers for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. You will prepare a variety of documents and follow up on any outstanding issues according to the directions of the supervisors. Additionally, you will prepare and process payments to providers and prepare reports to ensure entries have been adequately and accurately accounted.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You are required to report to the office one (1) day per month. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

You may have to travel as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1; or

One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field;or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
