Investigate sites and collect data
Design stream restorations
Design dam projects and perform safety inspections
Analyze sediment transport
Investigate water resources
Perform hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) modeling
Model flooding
Design stormwater management
Apply resilience principals
Process wetland and waterway permits
Assess and restore watersheds
Assist with grant applications and management

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related degree.
Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history. SKILLS WE WANT:
0-3 Years' Experience
Willing to learn or experience in field reconnaissance, survey equipment operation, data collection and analysis
Course work or willingness to learn any or all of the following: stream restoration, H&H modeling, floodplain studies, dam design, stormwater management design, and the permitting and approval process.
Willing to learn or experience in construction observation and oversight.
Willing to learn or experience in use of software for hydrology, hydraulics, drafting, presentation, and routine office administrative tasks
Writing and verbal communication skills
Willing and able for occasional travel and overtime
Engineer preferred: Will also consider allied professional education (Environmental Science, Biology, Geomorphology, Hydrology, Landscape Architecture, Ecology, equivalent work experience, etc.YOUR CAREER GROWTH:
