Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleThe IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Allyship, Social Impact) & Accessibility Program Manager will be a motivated and adaptable individual who will focus on supporting the IDEAS office, enabling execution against defined IDEAS priorities. This individual will collaborate with the IDEAS Team, HR Centers of Excellence, as well as internal and external business leaders to ensure effective operation of the office. This role is also responsible for leadership and management of Lumen’s employee accessibility initiatives. This individual should have proven leadership experience in employee accessibility, results-oriented roles, stellar storytelling, and project management skills with a special focus on executive-level advising and establishing strong interdepartmental partnerships. This role is critical to the systematic operating function of the IDEAS team.The Main Responsibilities

Function as project manager accountable for successful project completion of companywide IDEAS projects and events. Employ judgment to make business decisions about things that will impact the project, stakeholders, or company

Set program objectives and establish clear measures to successfully define and meet project deliverables and timelines.

Develop project progress and status reports (including executive status updates)

Assess/Manage risk, impacts and potential alternatives and escalate as required to the appropriate level of management.

Exercise considerable latitude in decision-making. May work with outside vendors to identify, develop, and deliver programs and support materials

Develop and execute on employee accessibility strategy

Conduct assessments of existing tools to determine potential barriers to accessibility. Develop plans for making existing tools and digital content more accessible to employees and candidates with disabilities

Collaborate with leaders and appropriate stakeholders to develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ADA standards

Analyze data to identify trends that may indicate a need for policy changes or other adjustments to programs or services. Prepare reports on findings and recommendations for improving accessibility

Develop communications for internal and external audiences in partnership with the communications team

Act as mentor and team leader to other teammates

Act in place of the CDIO as requested.

What We Look For in a CandidateRequired:

12+ years of Human Resources or Diversity & Inclusion experience

Experience leading employee accessibility efforts in a large, global organization

Experience leading and driving complex projects with multiple work streams spanning different businesses

Preferred:

Strategic thinker and planner with the ability to translate strategy to tactics and drive execution and desired outcomes

Cross-functional understanding of the HR organization

Demonstrated virtual leadership capabilities and ability to work effectively with all levels

Desirable location in/near Winter Park, FL, but not required. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
