In this role, you will be tasked with the planning, organization, coordination, and administration of federal funds allocated to PEMA through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program. Your responsibilities will include developing policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with federal and state laws for the effective management of cybersecurity financial assistance to Commonwealth agencies and eligible local government entities. Furthermore, you will assess and evaluate the acceptability of all financial assistance applications related to the grant programs, making necessary revisions and updates. You will also conduct regular reviews of program activities to ensure compliance with state and federal objectives and guidelines, monitor subrecipient grant award balances, and recommend appropriate actions. Additionally, you will prepare periodic status and financial reports, ensuring all reporting requirements for the assigned grant programs are met, and create or assist in special training courses pertinent to the grant programs.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of a training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
In the event of an emergency/disaster situation or training exercise, this position may be required to travel, work up to 12-hour shifts, and work outside of the normal work hours, including weekends and overnights.
Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will receive the minimum starting salary listed on this posting. The starting salary is non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as an Administrative Officer 1. or
Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
