Accounting Clerk

Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our client's team in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will be involved in various accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and cash applications. This is a contract to hire opportunity with hybrid potential once hired permanently!Responsibilities: Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, and General Ledger management to deliver high-quality work Address and resolve inquiries related to AP and AR accounts Handle accounts payable and receivable operations Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy Manage billing processes and maintain accurate records Oversee the company's general ledger and ensure all entries are correct and up-to-date Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient accounting operationsRequirements Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Demonstrable skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Billing systems and procedures Solid understanding of General Ledger operations Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in relevant software, particularly Microsoft Excel Nonprofit experience strongly preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
