BriteLife is currently open in Hanover, PA and Hilton Head Island, SC., with expansion coming soon to New York State. What you will be doing? The Medical director will have a critical role in managing and treating individuals with addiction. Core duties involve evaluating, diagnosing, and treating clients with substance abuse disorders. You will use a combination of medical knowledge and psychological interventions to create customized treatment plans. These plans can include medication management for addiction, oversight of detoxification processes, and ongoing medical supervision during recovery. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, therapists, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to addiction treatment. The objective is to address both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction, aiding clients in achieving sustained recovery and overall well-being. What tasks are required?

As a senior member of our BriteLife at Hanover team, you will act as a key partner working with our Corporate Advisory Board, and project leadership for recruitment and retention of medical staff.

Plans, organizes, directs and supervises all medical staff functions. Conducts Performance Appraisals for assigned medical staff. May serve as direct supervisor for mid-level prescribing clinicians (Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants).

Demonstrate the BriteLife mission, purpose, values and beliefs using trauma informed language and during contact with internal and external stakeholders

Make use of management practices including empowerment of staff, the provision of clear and concise expectations regarding duties, frequent feedback focusing on positive and problematic aspects of performance and other management practices consistent with continuous quality improvement

What we need from you?

Currently licensed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania to perform the scope of responsibilities set forth in the PA state regulations.

Certified by ASAM/ABAM

DEA X-Waiver
