Utz Quality Foods is seeking an Engineering Intern to work out of our Hanover, PA office. Join us this summer for an opportunity to work with our Engineering team on various tasks and projects. Gain valuable experience while networking with associates throughout the organization. Applicants must have effective communication skills, be detail oriented and an engineering major.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudy and analyze manufacturing processes.
Support Engineering/Continuous Improvement projects, and initiatives.
Construct time studies on existing processes.
Analyze and build reports that help manage/achieve company's goals.
Conduct root cause analysis of waste or downtime.
Perform other duties as assignedJob Requirements
Must be self-starter, detailed oriented, and possess ability to prioritize activities.
Excellent analytical, creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent technical, verbal, written and presentation skills.
Currently pursuing an Engineering bachelor's degree.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
