DSD Supply Chain & Replenishment Analyst

Utz Quality Foods is currently seeking a DSD Supply Chain & Replenishment Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the DSD Supply Chain Manager, the DSD Supply Chain & Replenishment Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Recommended Order System (R.O.S.) for over 120 Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distribution centers across the United States, managing an inventory valued at millions of dollars. You will lead initiatives to optimize DSD center operations, improve logistical efficiency, and reduce costs by evaluating and consolidating orders where possible, as well as optimizing source locations. Collaborating closely with our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team, you will also support the preparation of DSD sites for enhanced demand forecasting through Blue Yonder integration and the adoption of advanced technologies.This is a remote position, but we are looking for a candidate within a commutable distance to Hanover, PA for travel as needed.Responsibilities:

Support the maintenance of optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing write-offs due to out-of-code product.

Recurrently analyze each W3 site to adjust "min/max" inventory levels by item detail accounting for seasonality, new item innovation, market expansion and increased account distribution.

Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.

Assist in optimizing order processing workflows for efficiency and accuracy.

Assist in analyzing historical sales data to contribute to accurate demand forecasts.

Accountable for maintaining accurate item authorization tables and days-on-hand (DOH) needs for each W3-stie by adjusting out discontinued items, adding innovation and redeploying excess inventory.

Monitor, scorecard and report out weekly R.O.S. adherence by our DSD sites.

Will work with the IBP team to ensure R.O.S. configurations are sourced from the most optimized locations as dictated by order volume and frequency.

Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and production, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Proactively identify problems and swiftly work to implement the appropriate solutions.

Perform periodic reviews of current R.O.S. configuration to find opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Manage sourcing-lane efficiencies by proactively monitoring and analyzing order patterns by location.

Will manage and maintain a sourcing-table for the entire DSD network.

Perform other duties as assigned that will impact and support all Supply Chain efforts related to DSD.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or other related areas preferred.

2-3 years of Supply Chain experience required.

DSD or CPG industry experience preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build business relationships and trust.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and teach.

Expert leadership, presentation, and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Advanced Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables required.

Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic supply chain team.
