From the manufacturing floor to the corporate office, to employees in the field, each employee here plays an important role in who we are as a company.Summary: The Site Lean Deployment Leader is a Lean Thinker with a very high level of expertise in Business Transformation. They will play a central role in developing this site into a Lean enterprise based upon United Safety's Operating Model. They will lead, coach and influence their site's Leadership Team, ensuring rigor and fidelity to the Lean Deployment roadmap.As Site Lean Deployment Leader, you will be responsible for:

Driving the disciplined and rigorous deployment of the Lean Operating Model (LOM)

Creating and executing against the Site Lean Deployment plan and ensuring that all resources required are in place

Role modelling a culture that is aligned to United Safety's value drivers and culture principles

Coaching the leadership team in their deployment of the Lean Excellence Model

Ensuring the correct allocation of resources to make the Lean deployment a success, and making problems immediately visible, allowing problem solving to take place

Delivering improvement in People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cash and Cost (PSQDCC) targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments, driven by improvements in Lean Maturity

Developing deep Lean Expertise across the business, ensuring that business units become self-sufficient in running the Lean Operating Model, working to ensure that all staff are fully certified in Lean Thinking at the appropriate level for their role

Complying with all legal and regulatory requirements and ensuring that staff are aware of the policies and their individual responsibilities and accountabilities

Collaborating with peers on all activities as required to successfully complete projects

Working on other special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

You're a great fit for this position if this describes you:

Bachelor's degree, in Engineering or Science Discipline in finance, accounting or related field

Minimum of 10 years' relevant business experience

An understanding of Lean thinking and Lean leadership

The demonstrated ability to influence the site leadership team

Ability to lead, coach and mentor highly skilled and experienced team members

A track record of leadership and direction through effective communications, and building teams

Evidence of leading Business Transformation offices

Previous and significant experience in Lean Transformation

A Lean Certification from a reputable certifying body or benchmark company

Manufacturing supply chain experience

Experience with an ERP used in a manufacturing environment is desirable

Experience working for a private equity owned business is a plus

Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects including, analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem solving, decision making, creativity in presenting various options and accurately carrying out assigned projects with minimal supervision

Eagerness and comfort in performing in a fast-paced, team environment, while responding and adapting to change favorably and quickly

Positive attitude along with the ability to work in a team environment with the proven ability to manage teams through honest communication, consistency, and upstanding principles

Proven ability to make fast data driven decisions based on the best available information and excellent problem-solving experience, adapting based on performance

Ability to travel will be required to deploy the United Safety and Survivability operating model across all global companies. Expect up to 50% travel in the later stages o the deployment

Enjoyment and track record of working on high-performing teams that thrive in a winning culture

Handles data with confidentiality, thinks out of the box, and works without excessive supervision while building strong internal and external relationships

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including accurate spelling, punctuation, and grammar for producing error-free letters, reports, and decision-making documents

Demonstrates outstanding tact and diplomacy for effective customer service, conflict management, and relationship building with internal and external contacts
