For over 50 years, Ward’s Landscape Service, Inc. has provided the Erie area with award-winning, high quality, professional landscape maintenance and construction services. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Landscape Maintenance & Mowing Foreman.
All Candidates Must Have:
Valid driver’s license
Minimum one year experience in Commercial and Residential landscaping
Proficiency using Zero-Turn Walk Behind mowers, push mowers, trimmers, etc.
Professional experience:
o Maintaining set mowing schedules and routes for 50 - 75 customers each week.
o Documenting all job dates and times
o While providing the quality service our customers expect
While we understand that many people have mowed a lawn before, this position is not that simple. We cannot consider candidates without professional landscaping experience or train from an adjacent industry.
The Ideal Foreman Candidate Will:
Lead by example
Instruct laborers in their tasks and methods.
Communicate well with clients, laborers and management.
Track job times and materials used.
Inspect and account for all equipment used on job.
Maintain a safe and neat jobsite.
Consistently arrive on time and prepared to work until the job is complete.
Maintain professional appearance and attitude.
Be able to repeatedly lift heavy loads up to 50 Lbs and navigate jobsite terrain.
Correctly and safely use hand and power tools, as needed.
Be familiar with proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ask questions when unclear of process or assignment.
Be willing to learn new skills and methods.
Always make safety and quality paramount
Represent the company well.

Compensation will be based upon experience $20 - $25/hr
