We are seeking to fill an immediate full time Housekeeping / Janitorial Specialist position on first shift in our Plastics Division. Details of the position include:
Primary Duties:
(a) Sweeping and wet-mopping tile floors in assigned office and production areas on a daily basis.
(b) Dusting and/or wiping down office furniture, cabinets desks, support equipment, etc. in assigned areas.
(c) Coordinating the collection and disposal of trash in assigned office and production areas on a daily basis.
(d) Vacuuming carpets and rugs in assigned office locations and production areas.
(e) Cleaning and restocking assigned restrooms in the Plastics Division on a daily basis.
(f) Providing Press Operator break and lunch support in the Molding Division on a daily basis.
(g) Completing special housekeeping projects as assigned (such as sweeping exterior walk ways, cleaning windows, asisstng with the set-up of conference rooms for meetings / luncheons, monitoring & ordering cleaning supplies, etc.).
(h) Assisting other housekeeping / janitorial staff members with the cleaning of production areas as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
Interested candidates should have previous housekeeping / janitorial experience, along with a strong / independent work ethic and attendance history. In addition, the position will require an individual who takes pride in his/her work and who can adapt his/her work routine based on unanticipated changes to our production schedules. The ability to cooperate with others and work as a member of a team in a dynamic work environment is essential.
