The typical work schedule for this position is Wednesday - Sunday 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. The work shift could also include off hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Candidates may be given 6 months from their hire date to permanently relocate.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer Service personnel are responsible for a variety of customer service functions including:
Installing, changing, and rebuilding meters, reading meters, and performing collection work

- Mechanical fitting work
- Re-lighting appliances
- Perform line locating
- Maintain manual and electronic operating recordsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Excellent customer service/communication skills
Basic literacy is required. Ability to read, accurately interpret and analyze written information, and legibly prepare written documentation
Basic computer skills needed
The physical capability to work outdoors in all types of weather, the ability to work in and around hazards, and the ability to work in difficult to reach areas is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in plumbing, heating, air conditioning or a related field
Excavation operating experience
Knowledge of gas appliance operation
