Reads and executes recipes for hot and cold food preparation. Buffet style and Batch cooks items ensuring optimal food quality, i.e., Proteins (Meats, Fish, etc) vegetables, starches etc.Follows “counts” designated on production sheets, as written.Informs Chef when a recipe or food production sheet needs to be modified and informs Chef of potential shortages.Works with Dining attendants, in regard to, menu offerings and/or menu changes and specials.Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance. HAACPTeam player with Quality and Resident satisfaction as top priority.Completes HAACP related food safety paperwork and logs, as well as, post-production results.Other duties as assigned.
