ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of the Card Services Manager position is to provide direction and leadership to the Card Services Team and manages all operations related to debit and credit card services. This position ensures efficient, effective, professional service to our members. This role has budgetary responsibility, has limited supervision of daily work, and requires complex analytical skills to perform essential job functions.

The Card Services Manager is responsible for managing the Credit Union's debit and credit card programs, managing the Credit Union's card services team, providing operational and administrative support for assigned functions and programs, and managing department talent. This includes, but is not limited to, developing, implementing, and maintaining card services policies and procedures for debit and credit card processing, overseeing card activities, issuance, and reissuances, resolving special card related issues, acting as SEG contacts, and managing vendor card relationships. This role also manages the call center staffing schedule, implements card program changes, ensures compliance with relevant legal and internal policy rules and regulations, prepares reports and KPI's. The Card Services Manager also is required to select, coach, develop and retain top department talent.SKILLS

Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Strong skills and managerial knowledge of credit and debit card networks and processors

Skills and in-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations governing debit/credit card programs

Advanced skills in personal Computer Operations; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Partner with vendors to develop enhancements and execute efficiencies to improve member experiences

Manage Card Portfolio Inventory, Procurement, Purging and Fulfillment activities

Communicates and collaborates with leadership to provide operational leadership, from strategic decision making to project planning and execution, to ensure products and processes are reviewed and align with the overall credit union strategy

Knowledge of all regulations affecting card operations and processing including but not limited to Regulation, E, Regulation Z and the Card ActCOMPETENCIES

Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel

Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

Qualifications3-5 years of related experience
