Responsible for the entire employee life cycle to enhance their work experience.
Responds to inquiries from employees and Managers/Supervisors regarding regulations, policies, and procedures.
Meets with employees concerning FMLA and Short-Term Disability and maintains appropriate documentation and confidentiality.
Provides advice to Managers/Supervisors with regard to compliance of Federal, State and/or local regulations along with implementation policies.
Handle Worker's Compensation claims with documentation and investigations as required.
Could serve on the Employee Engagement Committee; planning and implementing monthly activities.
Partner with Temporary Staffing Agency to ensure business needs are met while fostering an inclusive environment.
Serve on the Safety Committee.
Work closely with the corporate HR Manager on HR initiatives and other projects.
Responsible for Environmental Health & Safety for 3 locations
Ensure that Safety Committee meetings are completed monthly at all facilities. May include chairing committee(s).
Address any safety concerns that are uncovered during the safety walk-through.
Update safety information that is available in all facilities.
Provide guidance and make sure OSHA logs are completed and updated as required. Keep the company in compliance with required OSHA standards.
Organize First Aid Responder training as required at all locations.
