Incident and Quality Management DirectorApplyRefer a FriendBackJob DetailsRequisition #:192910Location:East Stroudsburg, PA 18301Category:ComplianceSalary:$55,000 - $65,000 per yearPosition DetailsPosition OverviewThe Incident Management Director maintains overall responsibility of Aveanna’s Incident Management system to ensure compliance as required by applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. The Incident Management Director will collaborate closely with branch and area leadership.Essential Job FunctionsMust be a certified investigator (CI)Must be quality management (QM) certified within 6 monthsCoordinate with area leadership on the implementation of health and safety programs for individuals receiving ID services.Ensures the point person(s) has completed all required actions and activities.Corrective actions are implemented and monitored.All quality and risk management activities are completed.Leads and/or participates in Administrative Reviews for all incidents that were investigated by a CI.Investigation files are complete, securely maintained, and readily available for review by oversight entities.Leads the CI Peer Review (CIPR) process. The quality of investigations is reviewed using the standardized CIPR process and, as a result of the CIPR, the following occur if necessary:Individuals and families or persons designated by the individual are offered education, training, and information about incident management policies and procedures in a format that meets their communication needs.Maintaining a list of active CIs including recertification dates.Managing CI roles based on quality management activities and feedback from monitoring completed by oversight entities.Ensuring the previous provider’s staff and SCO staff’s access to the Department’s information management system has been removed when necessary.There is a timely response to complaints about a service that is related to the incident management or investigation processes.Coordinates Quality Management Plan for Aveanna’s Division of Developmental Disabilities as well as collects/analyzes QM data and leads QM meeting quarterlyMay assist with and/or participate on Human Rights CommitteeConducts Aveanna Specific Training with each branch.Reviews and Implements Location support staff training.Supports onsite monitoring, self-assessments, provider qualifications, etc.Point person for Incident Management for Administrative Entities and SCO’sRequirementsA master’s degree or above from an accredited college and one year work experience, working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities, orA bachelor’s degree and two-years work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism, orAn associate degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college of university and 4 years work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism, orA high school diploma or general educational development certificate and six (6) years’ work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism.
