Application Services Systems Architect

Pocono Medical Center seeks an experienced IT professional to be the technical lead for system architecture, integration, compatibility, domain configuration and data and code management. You'll ensure that all aspects of system architecture are documented and maintained while also providing expert advice during redesign and preserving optimal clinical and technical architecture. Will also troubleshoot technical application issues; assist with testing and validation of systems; and serve as Project Manager for complex technical design projects. Requirements include: Bachelor's in Computer Science Minimum of 5 yrs experience within computer or information services Practical experience developing and deploying integration solutions in a complex distributed environment, leveraging various healthcare standards Demonstrated understanding of general integration approaches and technologies, including but not limited to: SOA, Web Services, HL7, DICOM, CCD and EDI Competency in Clinical Systems Architecture, LAN/WAN/Systems Architecture and Healthcare Standards
