Accountant

Description An innovative and efficient Staff Accountant is need for a recognized company in the Lehigh Valley. We are looking for a talented and focused individual who will play a vital role in this company. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. Assist in general accounting and bookkeeping tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Disbursements and deposits; Assists in general reconciliation of accounts; Assists in maintaining open purchase order ledger and ensuring adherence to the company purchasing policy; Assists in maintaining master customer and vendor data including but not limited to W9s, credit applications and credit determination, banking information for electronic payments, and contact information; Assists in month-end reconciliations and closing; Reconciliation of e-commerce activity for direct to consumer products; Sales and use tax filing as required; Data and financial analysis as needed.For IMMEDIATE consideration for this position, please apply directly to this posting or call us at 610-882-1600Requirements Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;

Proven experience in technical accounting and general ledger reconciliation;

Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis principles;

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills;

Proficient in using software, such as QuickBooks and Excel;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

Prior experience in the manufacturing field preferred.
