Job description Scheduling Coordinator - Home Care BrightStar Care of W. Montgomery Co. (“BrightStar Care”) is seeking a Scheduler to assist with the employee staffing processin a healthcare setting, as well as ensure excellent service to our clients by proactively coordinating scheduling needs for personal care and facility staffing clients, establishing and maintaining an environment of accountability, and coachingcaregivers. Coordinates rescheduling and promptly addresses shift vacancies to ensure effective scheduling and minimize unbilled overtime. Effectively manages customer care procedures and serves as point of contact for client/caregiver relations. Ensures caregiver compliance with time and availability software. Assists with the intake of new clients and effectively communicates BrightStar differentiators. Manages all required documentation and ongoing note-keeping of employee & client activities. Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required. Performs additional duties and administrative functions as directed by management. Scheduling CoordinatorRequirements: 2+ years of Staffing, recruiting, and training experience within the home care or health care industry highly preferred. 3+ years CNA/HHA experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong oratory and written communication skills. Ability to provide superior customer service, problem-solve, and tactfully handle difficult situations. Critical thinking skills and the ability to work autonomously at times to produce an optimum solution. Positive “can do” attitude. Must be willing to accept evening and/or weekend on-call work. Ability to attend shift vacancies and new client starts of care is a plus! (BONUS pay offered) Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
