Pre-K Teacher

Curiosity Academy is looking for an early childhood educator to join our team in our Kindergarten Prep classroom. We believe every child has a natural curiosity and a desire to explore and learn about the world around them and we are looking for individuals who share these same values. The teacher will be responsible for monitoring children in their assigned class, preparing and teaching the provided curriculum, and working with our team to enhance the nurturing learning environment at Curiosity Academy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Create, prepare, and facilitate creative learning activities that are fun and educational Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons and student-led learning, free play, bathroom breaks, lunchtime and rest time for students Collaborate with teachers and leadership to foster, enhance, and provide a nurturing learning environment  Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with students and parents Deliver reports on student progress to leadership Maintain a clean and organized classroom Be flexible and fill in where neededQualities Energetic and passionate about providing a fun, safe environment for children to learn and growA team playerHave a positive attitude!The pay rate range for this position is $16-$20, depending on background and experience. Additionally, hired staff are eligible for free childcare services for school and summer camp.
