As specified by procedure and the site security plan, maintain a secure perimeter for site access and egress and employee, contractor and visitor entry. Perform search, patrol, and inspections in accordance with the Station Security Plan, procedures, and post orders.Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Maintain qualifications for position
Conduct patrols and inspections
Monitor access to security areas
Perform search activities
Respond to threats and contingency events
Perform equipment testing
Provide physical protection of Exelon nuclear generating facilities against intrusion and acts of sabotage.
Conduct armed stationary, foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior). Control access and/or egress of personnel, materials and vehicles.
Monitor CCTV, plant surveillance equipment and alarm systems.
Deter criminal activity, misconduct, and safety violations.
Perform other duties as specified in nuclear training and qualification plan and post orders.
Minimum Qualifications
Pass Any State required training or other qualifications for licensing
Be at least 21 years of age
Have a High School diploma or GED
Have a valid Driver's License
You must be able to pass a drug and test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment)
Be able to pass extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and educational verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and Credit Check
Pass a State licensing test, as you will be driving a company owned vehicle
Be able to operate a radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors and surveillance equipment
Be able to successfully complete all training required for the position
Demonstrate an ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
Pass the following, post-offer in accordance with code of federal regulations for armed nuclear security assignment: MMPI psychological testing physical exams, including vision and hearing, in accordance with nuclear regulatory requirements and site training and qualification plan:
Physical fitness (agilities) test in accordance with site training and qualification plan
Firearms qualification with rifle per client site training and qualification plan.
Nuclear site-specific training and testing providing general knowledge of nuclear power generation science and principles, this training and testing will include radiation worker principles including respirator training, fit and dress out

Individuals with prior Military
Current/Prior Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice
Prior Commercial Security/Loss Prevention experience will receive preferential consideration for these vacancies
