This role will be expected to take on leadership of our highest priority, strategic offers in global new plant opportunities including AP1000 and AP300 SMR and other new market opportunities in an advanced stage of development such as energy storage. This role will be expected to lead highly complex, multi-faceted proposals for multi-billion-dollar projects and be the integrator of all the various functional areas of the proposals. In addition, this role will provide management and mentorship of more junior offer managers to include them in the large proposals to for specific functional leadership and in smaller activities.Your Day to Day:

Provide leadership and mentorship of more junior offer managers and assign specific tasks in larger proposals to the offer development team

Manage the overall offer schedule including working with the Senior Director to ensure that all offers are assigned and are active

Support integration activities with potential project partners including but not limited to construction organizations

Develop work breakdown structures, schedules, and estimates to integrate technical, pricing, value proposition, commercial and customer requirements into the final offer to promote project success. This position will typically have 1-2 complex offers at any given time but can be expected at times to be able to manage multiple offers concurrently and ensure that deliverables are of high quality, on time, and on budget.

Collaborate with the technical and management teams, project management, and external customers to facilitate addressing challenging customer-specific and/or geographic-specific requirements.

Lead the interface with customer organizations to ensure understanding of bid/offer requirements for bid success, to ensure that information is delivered on time and that any larger interactions with customers are managed appropriately.

Prepare offer development reports including cost and schedule information to provide to Energy Systems management.

Develop process assets including processes, procedures and guides and identify best practices to improve performance on offer development activities.Who You Are:

15+ years of experience including in team/process leadership, project management and/or commercial offer development; Multi-disciplined nuclear industry leadership experience; increasing levels of responsibility and performance levels; project management experience including developing budgets and managing schedules is required

AP1000 knowledge and experience highly preferred

Demonstrated success at developing effective customer relationships

Demonstrated international and domestic project experience

Ability to build relationships at the executive level internally, with partners, and with customers

Executive presence and demonstrated communication skills including ability to summarize complex offer information to present to executives

Ability to establish effective networks across functional areas including, finance, strategy, engineering, licensing, procurement, etc.

Proficient in building effective working relationships with external stakeholders.

Ability to influence different thinking across the organization and challenge the status quo in a constructive and collaborative way.

Project and Time Management Skills necessary to effectively manage teams

Demonstrated success at managin teams and mentoring employees
