The Lean Coach will positively impact and achieve sustainable results that support our strategy. You will be a continuous improvement project leader and coach to ensure agreement on our improvement approach. The Lean Coach will facilitate large groups of people in both project and learning environments

You will report to the President of our America's Outage and Maintenance services group and be based out of our Cranberry Township, PA location. This is a remote role, but here will be some periodic travel to Cranberry required.

Key Responsibilities:Develop a Lean Transformation & Implementation road map for the business segment.Coach lean process and behavior changes, developing a Daily Management process focused on tools such as one piece flow, on demand, zero defects and standardized work. Deploy techniques such as Kaizen and A3 thinking and tools including Kanban, Value stream mapping, visual management, pull, TPM, SMED and 5S as applicable.Coach the full-time Westinghouse Leaders change leaders to grow their Lean knowledge, capabilities and foster a lean mindset. Mentor them to be experts in Kaizen and identification of Value Stream and value stream thinking.Develop and Support the value stream teams to develop and follow their personal standard work, yielding a culture of system, process, and behavior discipline to get results using lean principles.Collaborates with sponsors and business owners to ensure projects are fully defined, including established objectives, schedules, customer expectations, scope, and ROI/cost avoidance targetsLead system-wide initiatives at any given time without any degradation in the quality of work performedLead the implementation of process improvement projects utilizing Lean improvement methodologies to positively affect and achieve sustainable resultsDevelop the necessary project plans, and appropriate subproject plans, and lead us through the improvement process while following the schedules and accomplishing set milestonesHelp build awareness and socialization of Process Improvement methodologies and philosophies across the enterprise

Qualifications:Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent experience required in the field of Process Improvement5+ years of relevant experience in Lean and Project Management.Certification in LeanWhy Westinghouse?
