OverviewGCG Automation & Factory Solutions is looking for an experienced and strategic Product Manager to take ownership of our 80/20 aluminum extrusion product line within the GCG Automation & Factory Solutions (AFS) territory. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping and driving the go-to-market strategy for this product line to expand our presence and increase market share across the Midwest. Working closely with our sales and technical teams, you’ll be the driving force behind targeted growth initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to craft data-driven sales campaigns and identify emerging market opportunities.This role combines your product expertise, industry insight, and strategic planning skills to position the 80/20 product line for substantial growth, fostering innovation while ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers.While this role offers a remote work arrangement, we are seeking candidates in one of the following areas to allow for ease of travel to our locations as well as suppliers:

What you’ll do
Strategy Development: Craft and implement strategic growth plans, utilizing techniques such as SWOT analysis to identify and leverage opportunities
Product Expertise: Serve as a key resource for product knowledge and market insights, supporting sales teams in delivering technical, engineered solutions
Customer Engagement: Build and strengthen relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs and support long-term success
Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team on sales strategies, promotions, and solution-based selling to drive results
Market Analysis: Use CRM tools and analytics to monitor performance, analyze trends, and offer insights for continued product and strategy refinement
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management, supply chain, and operations to ensure product availability and timely delivery
Mentorship & Training: Guide and develop sales and technical teams to enhance their understanding of product applications and industry trends
What you’ll bring
Minimum 7+ years in T-slotted aluminum extrusion systems with a history of driving growth
Proven leadership in cross-functional settings and ability to influence without direct authority
Strong communication and presentation skills, adept at translating technical concepts
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred
Willingness to travel (up to 50%) across the Midwest
