job detailsjob summary:A Cost Controls Professional is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Conshohocken, PA area. This role involves leveraging extensive experience in cost engineering and project controls, along with advanced analytical skills and emotional intelligence, to manage EPCMV Bio/Pharma projects, implement earned value management and track progress.location: Conshohocken, Pennsylvaniajob type: Contractsalary: $60.71 - 74.46 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:
Collaborate with a multi-disciplined group to determine the EAC, efficiency of cost and schedule, highlight potential risks, and their financial impact.
Implement and evaluate earned value on projects to track progress in home office and/or field construction projects.
Assist project manager and/or construction manager to develop the estimate at completion using analytical thinking.
Perform cost engineering functions including estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis, and variance analysis.
Develop and evaluate major program cost estimates and extended budget projections to identify and quantify critical risk factors.
Review data to determine material and labor requirements for forecasting project completion.
Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for management purposes.
Skills:
Advanced skills in Excel, MS Access, and/or Power BI.
High degree of Emotional Intelligence, team player mentality, coachable, and analytical ability.
Experience with Oracle Unifier, EPCMV project lifecycle (home office & field construction), and EcoSys.
Experience building and maintaining Primavera P6 resource loaded schedules, preferred.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
10+ years of experience in Cost Engineering/Project Controls with EPCMV Bio/Pharma Projects, Earned Value Management, Change Management, and Risk Management.
