The virus is highly contagious and affects the lungs and airways. Infections occur in people of all ages and can feel like the common cold for most young adults, but for infants, the immunocompromised, and older adults, it can be potentially life-threatening.Pfizer's RSV vaccine, ABRYSVO, has been approved in numerous markets, including US, EU, UK, and Japan for the prevention of RSV in older adults and infants via maternal vaccination.Additional global regulatory filings are underway with approvals anticipated worldwide throughout 2024 and beyond. ABRYSVO's Maternal indication is set to deliver $775M at peak to Pfizer, and importantly, deliver on 6 decades of research to help impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of infants who are at risk of RSV disease.Reporting into the Global ABRYSVO Maternal & Vaccines Lifecycle Lead, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the commercial success of the maternal immunization indication. They will have a demonstrated track record of understanding market dynamics, engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders, thriving in complexity and ambiguity, and partnering strategically with cross-functional and regional commercial teams to advance business priorities. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of working in a matrix team environment and bring strong commercial expertise, vaccine experience, and demonstrate an ability to build and execute strategies and initiatives that maximize brand value.How You Will Achieve It

Drive consistent implementation of ABRYSVO Maternal strategy and realization of global efficiencies through strong partnerships with cross-functional team

Represent the Commercial voice in RSV Program Team meetings, ensuring strong commercial input to RSV Maternal Immunization and Lifecycle (e.g, pediatrics) decisions, with consideration of and alignment with regional in-line perspectives and priorities.

Understand data gaps required to secure optimal labeling and VTC recommendations to support ABRYSVO Maternal vaccine uptake and work with cross-functional team to determine and evaluate mitigations and scenario plans.

Lead commercial assessments of identified opportunities/risks.

Co-lead RSV Maternal competitive strategy workstream with Marketing Team, ensuring proactive planning and communication. Maintain a perspective on emerging competitor data and new entrants and provide input across workstreams for competitive considerations.

Global lead for RSV Maternal quarterly earnings and other external investor engagements in coordination with regional stakeholders, cross functional colleagues, and adult team

Coordinate decision making across functions, geographies, and the Maternal & Older adult indications, to maximize the total RSV franchise value. Identify and understand interdependencies across workstreams.

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

QualificationsMust-Have

BA/BS degree required.

10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, strategy and new product planning

Comfort with ambiguity, and complex "white space" environments

Strong commercial leadership experience at country and/or above-country/regional level, including collaboration with cross-functional teams (including Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, CSI, GAV) and regional/country colleagues

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead by influence to effectively develop and implement strategies. Ability to guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Ability to focus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and support the team through key strategic decisions

Strong analytical and strategic skills including ability to identify and prioritize strategic challenges and balance short term needs with long-term vision. Understands priorities and value drivers to optimize growth

Ability to act quickly and nimbly in response to what is happening in the external marketplace

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences.

Must be mature, self-driven, have exceptional learning agility
