Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to be an integral part of our team in the non-profit industry, based in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and timely Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate Maintain and update the general ledger regularly Perform journal entries and maintain accurate records Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks Assist in the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements Enter cash receipts and handle daily deposits efficiently Resolve customer inquiries related to accounts and transactions Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate credit records.Requirements Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Proven experience in the field of accounting, preferably within the non-profit sector Proficiency in accounting software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP Strong understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with bank reconciliations and general ledger operations Ability to prepare and post journal entries accurately Experience with month-end close procedures is preferred Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
