Description:The Vendor Management Specialist will assist in the development and coordination of the Bank's vendor management program. The Specialist will assist in efforts to continually evaluate the Bank's 3rd party vendors and continually monitor vendor risk. The Specialist will work with the Vendor Management Officer, stakeholders, and relationship managers across the bank to manage the onboarding approval process for all new vendors and products as well as during contract renewals.Below is a list of essential job functions. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the position.FOCUS ON ACCURACY AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Assists with the maintenance of all vendor management policies and procedures to ensure the Bank's adherence with all regulatory requirements. Assists in the validation of all vendor onboarding procedures and verifies all parties have met the programs documentation requirements. Help refine automation processes to ensure timely reviews are completed across the Bank.

FOSTERS COLLABORATION

Works collaboratively with employees of the Bank, at all levels, to ensure the vendor management program is seamlessly integrated in all departments. Assist with the day-to-day support for the Bank's vendors at all phases of the vendor management lifecycle. Advise relationship managers and other stakeholders in their due diligence assessments and ensure the proper vendor information is provided to all parties to ensure a proper risk assessment can be completed.

PROMOTES A SECURE FIRST CULTURE

Ensures risk management remains at the forefront of the Bank's vendor management program. Assists in the implementation of trainings and procedures to ensure all vendor relationship managers understand the risk related to their vendors and the criticality of following the programs procedures to effectively manage the Bank's risk. Works with the Vendor Management Officer, Information Security, and the Bank's regulators to monitor and implement new processes and procedures to minimize the Bank's overall risk and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

EMBRACE TECHNOLOGY

Utilizes the Bank's vendor management platform to effectively manage all vendor information, documentation, and maintenance requirements. Leverages new automation technologies to lower manual processes and increase the manageability of the program.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCETo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, with related experience and secondary education preferred in Finance, Business, Information Security, Risk, Data Governance, or related field. In lieu of a degree, Technology Certifications or equivalent years of experience will be considered. Successful completion of required background checks is required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to use telephone systems and possess good computer skills including email, internet and intranet use. Prior experience or the ability to learn core transaction system, debit card system, statement processing system, cash advance machines and any other computer programs pertinent to performing job duties.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar grap s.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.

This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
