THE POSITION

Clarks Summit State Hospital is on the lookout for a committed and skilled administrative professional to take on the role of Administrative Assistant 1, directly supporting the Chief Executive Officer. This position presents a thrilling chance to apply your administrative and clerical expertise in assisting the executive team dedicated to caring for some of the most vulnerable individuals in the state.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

You will assist the Chief Executive Officer and the various departments under their leadership by delivering essential administrative and clerical support through a range of administrative tasks. This role involves handling sensitive information, necessitating a significant degree of independent decision-making and a strong sense of initiative.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement.

FREE Parking

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Schedule is subject to change based on operational needs.

This position may require overtime as needed.

Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
