We currently have an opening for a Director, Adult Day Services for our program in Harmarville/Cheswick. Come join our team!POSITION-Director, Adult Day ServicesThe Director, Adult Day Services has overall responsibility for the marketing, developing, planning, and implementing of programs offered at the Adult Day Services program. In addition, the Director, Adult Day Services may serve as the nurse and will be responsible for the coordination and documentation of all medically related aspects of care for consumers at the Adult Day Services program. The Director, Adult Day Services also understands and will protect the rights of the individuals the program serves.QUALIFICATIONS-Director, Adult Day Services:

Master's degree in the human services field with 1 year experience in social/health services required.

Bachelor's degree in the human services field with 2 years' experience in social/health services required.

Prior experience in an administrative and/or supervisory capacity required.

R.N. or L.P.N. license required.

Prior experience working with aging adults and individuals with disabilities required.

Current US driver's license with acceptable driving record obtained through the Office of Motor Vehicles.

Acceptable Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance required.

Passing of physical examination and TB required.

Note: a copy of the degree or college transcripts must be provided and retained in the personnel file per regulations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES-Director, Adult Day Services include:

Coordinate the marketing and growth development of the Adult Day Services programs in conjunction with the strategic plan and financial accountability.

- Provide strategic planning, program development, personnel management, and overall operational administration, including coordination of on-going activities, to meet the established goals and objectives of the program.

- Ensure quality programming that is culturally relevant, age appropriate and maximizes independence and consumer choice.

- Ensure that the functions of Waiver Compliance, Incident Management/Risk Management, Provider Qualification, Quality Management, Claims Management and Fiscal Reconciliation are adhered to in the program(s) under the direction of the Director, Adult Day Services. In addition, the Director's responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, ongoing compliance with HCSIS, Promise enrollment, SSD maintenance, or other identified compliance functions. The aforementioned duties are delegated by the Vice President, Programs & Business Development, Western Region.

- Participate in National Easterseals Program, Pennsylvania Adult Day Services Association, Area Agency on Aging and other programs to assure the organization is positioned to be proactive in changing environments.

- Coordinate the marketing and growth development of the Adult Day Services programs in conjunction with the strategic plan and financial accountability.Nursing:

Coordinate all medically related aspects of care.

Ensure compliance with medically related regulations governing adult day care and assist with licensing inspections.

Conduct medical treatment for consumers in accordance with medical instructions and nursing code of conduct.

Make daily cursory physical check of all consumers.

Monitor and record consumers' temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure and weight as necessary.

Coordinate aspects of medication administration.

The package is valued at 6k. The annual rate is $50,000.
