A collision repair shop in Greencastle, PA is searching for a skilled Collision Body Technician! They are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of collision repair experience who are capable of handling comprehensive repairs from initial assessment to final adjustments. You will perform full paint jobs, panel replacements, and operate advanced repair tools like the Genesis Pooling measuring system and the PBG paint mixing system, while working directly with insurance companies to ensure all repairs meet high standards. Salary Range: $28 - $30 / hour DOE

Collision Body Technician Requirements:

5+ years of experience in collision repair

Proficiency in using Genesis Pooling measuring systems and PBG paint mixing systems

I-CAR Pro Level 3 certification is preferred

Demonstrated ability to manage complete paint jobs and perform extensive body repair tasks

Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that values collaboration and open communication

Experience in a rural setting or willingness to relocate

Collision Body Technician Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive collision repairs from initial damage assessment to final adjustments, ensuring high-quality standards are met

Execute complete paint jobs from start to finish, using the PBG paint mixing system for accurate color matching and application

Skillfully replace and repair vehicle panels as directed, including tasks such as quarter panel replacements

Operate and maintain advanced repair tools, including the Genesis Pooling measuring system, ensuring they are in good working order and adhering to safety standards

Work directly with insurance companies to manage repair approvals and ensure all repairs meet specified guidelines and quality expectations

Conduct thorough quality checks after each repair task to ensure all work meets industry standards and achieves customer satisfaction

Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and certifications, particularly I-CAR Pro Level 3, to enhance repair quality and efficiency

Keep the repair shop environment clean and organized, contributing to the overall functionality and professionalism of the space
