Job Title: Finishing - SandingJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Finishing - Sanding professional. This role involves various sanding tasks on different products, maintaining sanding schedules, and ensuring product quality through thorough inspections and corrections.Responsibilities
Hand sanding tread, risers, flooring, hand-rail, and newel.
Maintain sanding schedules.
Printing labels and pulling the proper product for the order.
Understand and run a wide-belt sander.
Operate an opti-sander to do final sanding of the product.
Identify and correct defects when possible.
Initial scanning of product.
Clean work stations at the end of the day.
Perform manual labor relevant to the specific department, such as pushing and pulling carts with product.
Essential Skills
Prior experience hand sanding with an orbital sander.
Good problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work as a team, as well as be self-managed when working alone.
Computer literate.
Conscientious, hardworking, and detail oriented.
Positive attitude and respect for others.
Consistent respect for appropriate attendance and punctuality.

Prior experience with a wide-belt sander preferred.
